Features: Tai Chi is a unique gem in Chinese traditional culture. Based on more than 20 years of teaching experience, this tutorial focuses on enhancing the cultural connotation of Tai Chi. According to the basic principles of practicing and skill formation in Simplified Tai Chi, the content is designed from the perspective of "how to learn" for practitioners. The book is divided into four parts: Overview, Practice, Guidance, and Reference.
The Overview section briefly summarizes the history of Tai Chi, the creation, characteristics, and functions of Simplified Tai Chi. The Practice section reorganizes the learning content from the perspective of "learning," reducing the difficulty of study. Through repeated demonstrations and imitation exercises following the "whole-part-whole" action sequence, practitioners gradually master the movements and integrate knowledge and skills. The Guidance section provides comprehensive guidance for practitioners during the learning process and elaborates on the difficulties and key points of movement learning. The Reference section introduces famous figures in Tai Chi, routine images, classic literature, and related Tai Chi and Tai Chi Sword.
Additionally, the book is accompanied by a bilingual VCD teaching disc, fully utilizing modern educational technology to comprehensively, systematically, and visually introduce the complete routine and practice methods of Simplified Tai Chi. It serves as a reference for learners to complement the book.
