Tea pigment is a medicinal component extracted from tea leaves. Its main pharmacological effects include regulating lipid metabolism, anti-atherosclerosis, anticoagulation and promoting fibrinolysis, free radical clearance, reducing plasma endothelin, enhancing immunity, and inhibiting tumors. The numerous pharmacological effects of tea pigment have been fully demonstrated in clinical application studies. For example, it has therapeutic effects on primary and secondary treatments for hyperlipidemia, cardiovascular diseases, cerebrovascular diseases, malignant tumors, diabetes, high-altitude diseases, fatty liver, nephrotic syndrome, and dementia syndrome, with no significant side effects.
The "Album" is a specialized work showcasing these achievements. The advanced, rigorous, and comprehensive scientific research data contained in the "Album" will undoubtedly promote the expansion of tea pigment research topics and facilitate academic exchanges on an international scale.
