Features: Zhong Shizhen, born in 1925, is from Guangdong Province and a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He is currently the Director of the Institute of Clinical Anatomy at Southern Medical University (formerly the Military Medical University), Director of the Guangdong Trauma Rescue Research Center, Director of the Guangdong Tissue Engineering and Detection Key Laboratory, Director of the Guangdong Medical and Biological Mechanics Key Laboratory, and Group Leader of the China Digital Human Research Liaison Group. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Anatomy and the Honorary Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese Journal of Clinical Anatomy. He has previously served as the Honorary President of the Chinese Association of Anatomists and the Director of the Anatomical Society of China. His main academic contributions include establishing an applied anatomy research system to meet the needs of clinical surgery; pioneering research in medical biomechanics within the field of anatomy; conducting experimental tissue engineering research in conjunction with trauma rescue; and exploring new frontiers in digital anatomy. He has trained 6 postdoctoral researchers and over 70 doctoral students. He was elected as a member of the sixth National People's Congress and has received honorary titles such as "National Outstanding Teacher," "National Advanced Science and Technology Worker in Higher Education," and "Science and Technology Master of the General Logistics Department." He has edited and published 13 academic monographs and authored over 150 papers. He has won five second prizes in the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Award.
