Features: It is believed that what catches the readers' eyes will be a novel and unique clinical practical medical book. This book has two distinctive features: First, standardization and clear organization, with surgical procedures as the framework, sequentially introducing indications, contraindications, preoperative preparation, anesthesia, positioning, surgical steps, precautions, postoperative management, and complications, making it easy for readers to understand at a glance, with clear structure, allowing readers to perform surgeries step by step by referring to this book. Second, it introduces typical cases, with most surgical procedures featuring both successful and failed cases, followed by an analysis and commentary on the reasons for their success or failure, facilitating readers in learning from experience and drawing lessons, thereby deepening understanding and enhancing reading interest. Currently, there are already several major works on gynecological and obstetric surgery published in China, with rich and diverse content, sufficient for updating technical knowledge. To strengthen the training and help young physicians and grassroots medical staff improve their surgical operation skills, we have been commissioned by Shandong Science and Technology Press to organize the writing of the book "Gynecological and Obstetric Surgical Standards and Typical Case Commentaries." The selection of surgical procedures focuses primarily on clinical common practices, but also includes some valuable and challenging surgeries. The surgical operations are strictly standardized, emphasizing clinical practicality. Each surgical procedure is introduced, including indications, surgical plan design, specific operation steps, and prevention and treatment of possible complications. At the same time, typical cases are selected for brief introduction and commentary, analyzing the key factors of their success or failure, to facilitate readers in learning from experience. The authors of this book include not only experienced experts with rich clinical experience and surgical skills but also middle-aged and young physicians with practical online implementation experience, among whom are the outstanding ones among the rising stars. The book is approximately 600,000 words with over 800 illustrations. While emphasizing standardized surgical procedures, it also introduces the authors' unique experiences, hoping to directly guide clinical physicians in practical applications.
