Features: On March 4, 2006, General Secretary Hu Jintao, when visiting the delegates attending the Fourth Session of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, pointed out that in our socialist society, it is necessary to guide the broad masses of cadres and the people, especially the youth, to establish a socialist sense of honor and disgrace. We should take loving the motherland as honor and endangering the motherland as disgrace; take serving the people as honor and turning away from the people as disgrace; take upholding science as honor and being ignorant and ignorant as disgrace; take hard work as honor and being lazy and indulgent as disgrace; take unity and mutual assistance as honor and harming others for personal gain as disgrace; take honesty and trustworthiness as honor and forgetting righteousness for profit as disgrace; take abiding by discipline and the law as honor and breaking the law and disrupting discipline as disgrace; take hard struggle as honor and arrogance, extravagance, and debauchery as disgrace. This book is specially formulated to facilitate the study of General Secretary Hu Jintao's discourse on the socialist sense of honor and disgrace, making it convenient for Party cadres at all levels and grassroots Party organizations to learn.
