Features: How is art produced? What are the earliest major forms of art? Are the reasons for the emergence of different art forms the same or different? All these questions related to the genesis of art are inescapable in any cultural or art history and are often positioned as a "chapter." In aesthetic research, they also hold significant importance in "genetic aesthetics." The author believes there are three approaches to studying this topic: 1. Empirical research on humanity's earliest art, i.e., Paleolithic art; 2. Research on the art of modern primitive peoples; 3. Experimental research on the psychology of children's art. Among these, the first approach is considered the most important. For this reason, the prehistoric archaeological materials discussed in this book extend to the 1990s. At the same time, a realistic analysis of the various possible reasons for the emergence of prehistoric art is also provided.
