In May 2004, they once again co-hosted the academic symposium "Urban Development and Planning Education in China under Globalization," which marked the third major event in the field of planning education in China and holds significant importance for advancing the development of urban planning and education in the country. This conference provides a platform for exploring issues of Chinese urban planning and education under globalization. Many high-quality papers were submitted, and to expand the conference's influence and facilitate communication and research among peers, we plan to publish a proceedings volume, aiming to offer references and insights for urban planners and educators.
