The TCM Question Bank Series is based on the planned teaching materials and syllabi of national TCM universities and colleges, and also references the national qualifications examination syllabi for practicing physicians and assistant practicing physicians. It is designed to adapt to the practical needs and modern examination formats of various levels of exams. The series is divided into 10 volumes: Basic Theories of TCM, Chinese Materia Medica, Formulas of TCM, TCM Diagnostics, Internal Medicine of TCM, Gynecology of TCM, Pediatrics of TCM, Orthopedics of TCM, Surgery of TCM, and Acupuncture and Moxibustion. Each volume is edited by well-known experts and professors in their respective fields, who have long been engaged in TCM teaching in higher education institutions with extensive experience in teaching, tutoring, and question-setting. During the writing process, emphasis is placed on the breadth, depth, and difficulty level of the content, striving for reasonable questions and accurate answers. Each volume consists of three main parts: learning requirements, various types of questions, and reference answers with detailed explanations of difficulties. The question types include: multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blank questions, true-or-false questions, term definitions, and short-answer questions.
Multiple-choice questions are divided into four types:
- Type A (Best Choice Questions): The question is presented first, followed by five options (A, B, C, D, E). The correct answer must be selected according to the question requirements from the five options.
- Type B (Matching Questions): Five options (A, B, C, D, E) are listed first. More than one question may be included, with one best answer selected for each question from the options. Each option may be used once or more, or not at all.
- Type C (Comparative Matching Questions): Four options (A, B, C, D) are listed first, and the number of questions can be two or more. One correct answer is selected for each question from the options.
- Type X (Multiple Choice Questions): A question stem is presented first, followed by five options (A, B, C, D, E). Two to five correct answers must be selected according to the question requirements from the options.
Through practice with various types of questions, students can systematically and deeply master the professional knowledge of the subject and develop skills in analyzing difficulties. Concise textual summaries are provided to review the content of each chapter, with detailed explanations of key and difficult points.
