Tinea cruris is a fungal infection of the skin in the groin, perineum, and perianal area. Apply 1% to 2% bifonazole, miconazole, clotrimazole, or ketoconazole cream topically 1 to 2 times daily, continuing for 1 week after the lesions have resolved. A 1% to 2% bifonazole, miconazole, clotrimazole, or ketoconazole cream is commonly used topically 1 to 2 times daily, continuing for 1 week after the lesions have resolved. For refractory cases, itraconazole or terbinafine can be taken orally.
