Features: China has abundant fur animal resources, and fur animal farming has a history spanning several decades. With the growing development of the commodity economy, fur animal farming has become increasingly active and has developed into a significant industry. This holds great importance for improving people's living standards and increasing foreign exchange earnings from livestock products. However, at present, China's fur animal production technology is relatively backward, and farming management is often rough, leading to declining fur quality and low economic benefits, all of which severely constrain fur animal production. With China's entry into the WTO, the government has introduced relevant policies and regulations to ensure that livestock product quality aligns with international standards. Fur animal production must also strictly adhere to the product standards promulgated by the WTO. Therefore, implementing standardized production in fur animal farming has become urgent. To this end, we have referred to domestic and international literature and compiled the book "Standardized Production Technology of Fur Animals" for the reference of fur animal producers. The book is divided into five chapters, primarily introducing the standardized production technology of 14 fur animal species that are commonly farmed and rapidly developing. It also covers standardized production in fur farming and disease prevention, aiming to achieve standardized selection of breeds, standardized construction of farms, standardized breeding techniques, and standardized feeding and management. The book is practical, advanced, and scientific. Due to the limitations of the compilers' expertise and experience, coupled with the urgency of the timeline, errors and shortcomings are inevitable. We sincerely invite relevant experts and fur animal producers to provide criticism and corrections. Here, we once again express our gratitude to the original authors of the reference materials.
