Chapter 5 broadens the perspective of outsourcing decision-making research from a process perspective, exploring the formulation of outsourcing strategies at multiple stages, analyzing the determination of the number of outsourcing providers from a transaction cost perspective, and deriving the applicable conditions for selecting a single outsourcing provider versus multiple outsourcing providers;
Chapter 6 focuses on outsourcing relationship management;
Chapter 7 starts from the concept of risk and the definition of outsourcing risk, establishes an analysis and management framework for outsourcing risk, constructs an identification model for outsourcing risk, introduces methods for assessing and prioritizing the importance of business outsourcing risks, explores incentive mechanisms for preventing adverse selection and moral hazard in outsourcing, and discusses the dynamic monitoring of outsourcing risk control;
Chapter 8 summarizes the influencing factors of outsourcing performance at each stage and explains the mechanism by which outsourcing relationships affect corporate benefits from the perspective of knowledge alliances.
In the appendix, cases of business outsourcing by enterprises, government agencies, and universities are selected for analysis and explanation, and common clauses that should be included in outsourcing contracts are also clarified.
