Features: The hardware structure security of information systems and the security of operating systems are the foundation of information security, and cryptography is the key technology. To promote academic exchange in information security technology, especially cryptography, we have compiled this work as a starting point. This book is based on the author's long-term teaching and research in information security at the School of Computer Science, Wuhan University. The research work was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National 863 Program, the National Cryptography Development Fund, and the Doctoral Program of Education Ministry. The author attempts to systematically introduce the basic theories and practical applications of cryptography from the perspective of combining theory and practice. It covers both domestic and international cutting-edge research achievements, as well as specific practical technologies; it includes both the research of foreign scholars and that of domestic scholars. Despite the author's initial intentions, due to limitations in academic level and scope, many theories and technologies in cryptography remain unaddressed, and there may be inaccuracies and errors in the content described.
