Is it pregnancy if menstruation hasn't come yet?

Patient's question:

I came on the 18th, then it was 14th last month, and four days ago. But now on the 14th, it still hasn't arrived. I've also felt some discomfort in my stomach. Two days ago, I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I want to ask if having sex when my period was about to come could result in pregnancy. Why hasn't my period arrived yet?
Medical History and Treatment Effects:
Previously, my period was always early, never delayed. Now it's delayed, and I'm very scared.
Help Needed:
What is going on with me? Am I pregnant, or is there something else wrong?

Doctor's answer:

The menstrual cycle of women is generally 28 to 30 days. It is still within the normal range if it is advanced or delayed by about 7 days. The length of the cycle varies from person to person. However, if menstruation does not arrive after more than 7 days, it is considered delayed menstruation. The main reasons to consider for delayed menstruation are primarily pregnancy, followed by menstrual disorders. Generally, after sexual intercourse, it takes about 14 days to detect pregnancy using a pregnancy test. After the sperm and egg meet and combine, it usually takes 10 to 12 days for implantation to occur, after which hormonal changes in the body will become apparent.
