Features: Chemistry is the discipline that studies the composition, structure, properties, synthesis, and applications of substances. It is also a natural science based on experiments. Learning and researching chemistry cannot be separated from chemical experiments. In high school chemistry, chemical experiments hold an important position. This is not only necessary for building a foundation in chemical knowledge and learning basic skills but also for understanding and researching the processes and methods of chemical changes, as well as for enhancing students' emotional attitudes and values. Therefore, the study and exploration of chemical experiments are one of the core contents of learning high school chemistry and also one of the key focuses of the college entrance examination. To help high school students master chemical experiment knowledge, improve experimental operation skills, and enhance the ability to analyze and solve chemical experiment problems, we have compiled this High School Chemistry Experiment Guidance and Extension. It can serve as a reference book for students learning high school chemistry, a resource for college entrance examination review on chemical experiments, and even a teaching reference for teachers. In the process of curriculum reform, it will be a valuable assistant for the Experimental Chemistry module. This book includes five parts: "Chemical Experiment Safety," "Chemical Experiment Instruments," "Basic Experimental Operations," "Chemical Experiment Exploration," and "Comprehensive Training." It provides readers with common knowledge about chemical experiment safety, information on chemical experiment instruments and their use, and the "basics" of chemical experiment operations. Furthermore, based on the concepts of the new curriculum reform and new curriculum standards, it offers a distinctive exposition on how to understand and carry out chemical experiment exploration activities. Each part is accompanied by a wide range of example analyses and training questions. In the fifth part, three sets of comprehensive training questions are compiled, including indispensable "star questions" from past college entrance examination chemical experiments. Readers can combine and integrate the use of regular chemistry courses and college entrance examination review courses with this book according to their learning needs and progress. Due to limited expertise, this book may inevitably contain omissions and imperfections. We sincerely hope for criticism and corrections from experts, scholars, teachers, and students.
