Can you confirm which day I gave birth?

Patient's question:

I came on November 8th, and my period ended on the 10th. On the morning of the 15th and 16th, we had sex. On the afternoon of the 20th, we had sex again. My menstrual cycle is 27 days. Today's ultrasound shows that the uterus is smaller with a clear outline, the wall echoes are uniform, and there is a gestational sac measuring 2.31.8cm inside the uterine cavity. No fetal pole, fetal heartbeat, or fetal movement is visible inside the sac. The intrauterine pregnancy is approximately 40 days. Can this child be kept? Can you confirm which day I will give birth? I really need your help, please.

Doctor's answer:

You can only speculate about the inability to conceive based on a single ultrasound. If you had two ultrasounds, you could compare them side by side. However, with only one ultrasound, based on your last sexual intercourse on the 20th, it would be 26 days by the time of the thorough examination, which is 40 days after conception. Under normal circumstances, a gestational sac should be visible at this stage. But since you still can't see a gestational sac, it could be a sign of poor embryo development. However, this is not definitive, and blood tests are needed to make a more accurate assessment.
