Urological Surgery Atlas - (Second Edition)

Author: Frankhinman, Jr
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2005-12-01
Features: This book is primarily intended for urologists in training. Although the structure of the book is complex, it is highly logical. It includes preventive measures for patient preparation and the surgical process itself, as well as assistance in addressing problems encountered during the postoperative stage. Long-term follow-up of conditions and management of later-stage issues are left for other books. The book also provides a list of special instruments required during the surgery for both surgical staff and surgeons. However, the book does not cover surgical history, nor does it delve deeply into diseases requiring surgery. It offers only brief introductions to diagnosis, symptoms, and contraindications. All the content included is listed in the table of contents. Compared to the first edition, over 200 new illustrations have been added in this edition, bringing the total number of illustrations to 1,800. To provide more anatomical pathways, the editors have included illustrations of relevant structures before the descriptions of the surgical procedures.
