Can cerebral palsy in infants be cured?

Patient's question:

The child of my sister's family is 3 years old this year and was carefully diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The whole family is very scared. The doctor said there is basically no hope for self-recovery. I can't believe it, you really can't be cured?

Doctor's answer:

Cerebral palsy in children is an irreversible brain injury that occurs again, and it is generally difficult to heal on its own. Only by controlling the condition with medication and cooperating with later functional training can we do our utmost to help children recover their surrounding environment and learn basic self-care skills. Parents are the children's greatest hope, and they must have confidence to take better care of their children. Different causes lead to different symptoms. Patients need to go to regular Grade A hospitals for systematic and standardized examinations as soon as possible according to their own conditions, so that they can be treated accordingly and recover quickly.
