Features: The Twenty-Four Form Tai Chi is a newly compiled Tai Chi routine, organized by the State Physical Culture and Sports Commission in 1956. A group of Tai Chi experts adapted and refined it based on the Yang-style Tai Chi, following the principle of progressing from simple to complex and from easy to difficult. It altered the traditional training sequence that started with difficult movements and then moved to easier ones, removing excessive repetitive actions from the original routine, and focused on the key structures and techniques. This made it easier for the general public to master, learn, and practice. This book has the following features: (1) It provides a detailed introduction to the characteristics, overall movement principles, and health benefits of the Twenty-Four Form Tai Chi; (2) It introduces the basic techniques of the Twenty-Four Form Tai Chi; (3) The routine includes illustrations explaining each movement, and after each movement description, it adds teaching commands, combat meanings, movement principles, movement requirements, common mistakes, their causes, and correction methods. The book is rich in illustrations and clear and intuitive. Ordinary practitioners can learn the routine simply by following the illustrations, achieving the goal of strengthening the body and improving health. Those interested in further improvement can also gain deeper practice from aspects like combat meanings and movement principles. This book is specially contributed to by Peng Lili, a national Tai Chi and sword champion, Asian Championship champion, and Wuying-level athlete from the Fujian Provincial Wushu Team, who provided accurate demonstration photos for the entire routine.
