Blood test can detect pregnancy?

Patient's question:

Always have a low-grade fever, otherwise everything is normal. The parents want to take me to the hospital for a blood test to check my body. Will it detect pregnancy? I don't know if I'm pregnant or not. What kind of help do I want: Will it detect gynecological diseases?

Doctor's answer:

The check for pregnancy and the thorough examination done for a fever are different. The examination to determine how pregnancy occurs usually starts with a urine HCG test, and blood HCG testing is only conducted if the urine HCG diagnosis is inconclusive.
Therefore, if you go to the hospital for a thorough examination due to a fever, they will never check for pregnancy-related tests. Even if you are pregnant, it would not be detectable through these examinations. Gynecological conditions cannot be identified through these tests either; there are specialized examinations for gynecological issues. Wishing you good health!
