If pregnancy is before or after the menstrual period?

Patient's question:

Was it before or after your period that you got pregnant? My last period started on June 14th in the afternoon and lasted for six days. On the seventh day, it stopped. I was with my ex-boyfriend on June 10th, and with my husband on June 12th, 13th, and after my period ended. Why couldn't I find out I was pregnant until August 9th? On September 19th, the NT test showed the fetus was 12 weeks and 5 days. On December 6th, the 4D ultrasound showed the fetus was 22 weeks and 2 days. Whose child is it? How does it not match up with the timing of my last period?

Doctor's answer:

If you conceive 14 days before your next menstrual period and you only spent time with your husband after your period, then the child is your husband's. On August 9th, you found out you were pregnant, which should mean you conceived in the second half of your period. The NT measurement value was consistent with the initial pregnancy test, but during the 4D scan, the fetus was smaller than expected. It is recommended to engage in appropriate activities, maintain a nutritious diet, and keep a positive mindset.
