Features: To deeply study and accurately grasp the important spirit of the science and technology conference, fully understand the scientific connotation of independent innovation, and the significant meaning of building an innovative nation, the Party History Press of the Communist Party of China has decided to publish a book titled "Study Reader on Independent Innovation and Building an Innovative Nation." To accomplish this task, we organized experts and scholars from party schools, universities, and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the State Council to first thoroughly study the important speech delivered by General Secretary Hu Jintao at the science and technology conference, as well as the relevant spirit of the speeches by Premier Wen Jiabao, State Councilor Chen Zhili, Minister Xu Guanhua, and other leaders. Combining their learning experiences, they wrote this "Reader."
