The abundant geographical information and scientific layout are impressive even today. However, the map lacks a publication date and legend, and is estimated to have been created in the 1930s of the Republic of China. Su Jiarong graduated from Peking University, worked at Peking University, and was the founder of Rixin Geographical Society. During the Republic of China period, he compiled and published many maps. For easier reading, the map was enlarged by 1.30 times, but the scale was unchanged to preserve the original appearance of the map.
