Butterflies fly freely

Features: At first glance, Xi Xi appears as a gentle and quiet little girl, sitting obediently and not speaking much. It seemed that her paintings and writings should be serene and tranquil, just like this small person. Soon after, I received digital files of Xi Xi's artworks uploaded by her mother online. Upon closely examining these paintings, I was greatly surprised and found it hard to believe they were created by a ten-year-old girl. Xi Xi's artworks display a bold personality, rich textures, vibrant and intense colors, and an omnipresent boundless, whimsical childhood. How could this gentle and quiet girl possess such a rich and sensitive inner world? This made me very curious. Thus, I had the privilege of meeting Xi Xi's first teacher, Xiao Chi, as well as Xi Xi's parents, and felt the profound and boundless love they have for their child. Only under such a sky of love could there be such free, brilliant, and soaring—butterflies. I hope the publication of this work will bring Xi Xi, the little girl, more joy; and also bring joy to all children who love life and art.
