Medical Records of Integrating Chinese and Western Medicine

Author: Zhang Xichun
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2002-01-01
Features: This book is divided into three parts (Upper, Middle, and Lower), and it includes the complete works of the late renowned physician Zhang Xichun's "Medical Records of Integrating Eastern and Western Medicine." The book contains a large number of case studies and prescriptions, as well as commentaries by Zhang Xichun. The content is rich and possesses strong scientific, systematic, theoretical, and practical qualities, making it suitable for reading and reference by researchers and medical practitioners.
In the original book, each issue often included prefaces, poems, and other writings by Zhang Xichun's relatives, friends, and disciples. Some versions had these omitted, but as they are not directly related to medicine, and their length is not excessive, they were retained in this edition to provide a more comprehensive and systematic understanding of Zhang Xichun. However, the poetry collection "Poems of the Flower Garden" from the fifth volume of the sixth issue was excluded due to its length. Regarding the "Lectures on Western Medicine" from the fifth volume of the fourth issue, although the selected medications are mostly no longer in use and some discussions contain errors, they were retained in their entirety to facilitate reader reference, as they are frequently mentioned in other parts of the book.
