Patient's question:
I got married last year. Recently, I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain, especially during my period. I'm very worried about it affecting my fertility, and I'm also extremely sensitive to cold and coldness. Could you please tell me how to handle breast milk that has been refrigerated after being expressed for feeding a baby?Doctor's answer:
Refrigerated breast milk can be fed to the baby but must be heated. When heating, it is best to use the water bath method (i.e., heating through water) to prevent the temperature from rising too quickly and damaging the nutrients in the breast milk. Generally, heating to around 50 degrees Celsius is most suitable. Once cooled to slightly higher than body temperature, it can be fed to the baby. After a delayed menstrual cycle, an early pregnancy test can be used to detect pregnancy. Two red lines on the test paper indicate a positive result, meaning pregnancy. Additionally, 10 days after sexual intercourse, an HCG blood test can confirm early pregnancy. This is currently the earliest and most accurate method for diagnosis.
