Patient's question:
What should I do if the nipple hasn't grown out inside?Doctor's answer:
Nipple inversion refers to a condition where the nipple does not protrude above the breast skin and does not protrude even when pulled. First, you can gently pull the inverted nipple out of the breast with your hand and hold it in place for a while. If this method is not effective, you can try the syringe suction method. Prepare a 10-milliliter plastic syringe, remove the outer casing from the front end of the syringe; pull out the needle core, turn the syringe upside down, and align the open end of the outer casing with the inverted nipple. Then insert the needle core from the cut end of the syringe into the front end, gently suction, and use the negative pressure of the syringe to pull out the inverted nipple and hold it in place for 5-6 minutes. Repeat 1-2 times daily.
