Features: The "Health Bible" is an encyclopedic in style, pursuing systematicity, authority, and scale, which naturally results in limited practicality and convenience. In recent years, China's medical insurance system reform has begun to be implemented, and people hope to learn more about specific knowledge related to disease prevention and treatment in order to control diseases, promote health, and rationally plan medical expenses. After the publication of "Health Bible," some readers also suggested that we compile another practical reference book on health care. To meet the readers' demands, we first divided the natural process of disease prevention and treatment for ordinary people into five stages: symptom occurrence, self-initial judgment, seeking medical attention, diagnosis, and treatment. Then, following this thread and the needs of patients at different stages, we reorganized, supplemented, and revised the relevant content of "Health Bible," forming the current "Color Atlas for Self-Diagnosis of Human Diseases."
The integrated and enriched "Color Atlas for Self-Diagnosis of Human Diseases" retains the advantages approved by Mr. Li Liming, namely, while emphasizing the introduction of modern medical diagnostic methods, it further highlights the practical effectiveness of traditional Chinese health preservation. The concise and profound text, combined with lifelike photos and illustrations, makes the content more vivid and intuitive, showcasing the advantages of popular science books. Additionally, the book's practicality and search function have been strengthened. We have tried our best to arrange the format from the readers' perspective, aiming to help them identify symptoms and diseases, find appropriate medications and doctors, and serve as an important reference for ordinary people's medical treatment and health care.
