Features: With the continuous development and expansion of economic and cultural exchanges between China and other countries, interactions between domestic groups, institutions, enterprises, public institutions, and individuals with foreign counterparts have become increasingly frequent. This book aims to provide a practical reference guide for professionals in various fields in China who use French as a communication tool for writing correct French business correspondence. Based on the current practical needs of foreign affairs, the book categorizes business correspondence into three major types (i.e., the three parts of the book). Around this content, the book briefly introduces the formats and structures of the various types of business correspondence involved, provides practical phrases and essential knowledge for each type, and selects several French examples with corresponding Chinese translations. These examples are language-standardized and highly practical, serving as both a reference for writing French documents and an auxiliary teaching material for learning French business correspondence. The first two parts of the book primarily target the needs of individuals living abroad or preparing to work or study overseas, as well as those engaged in foreign affairs domestically, in interactions with various foreign institutions and people at all levels. The content includes correspondence with family and friends, various types of applications, and letters regarding specific matters in daily life or work, addressed to individuals from the highest level (e.g., the president, ministers) to office secretaries and clerks. The third part focuses on the procedures and operational needs of commercial activities, providing a detailed introduction to business correspondence. These aspects include ordering, supplying, delivering, foreign trade, transportation, insurance, settlement, and so on.
