What are the reasons for constant fetal movement in the 9th month of pregnancy?

Patient's question:

I got married last year. Recently, I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain, especially during my period. I'm very worried about it affecting my fertility, and I'm also extremely sensitive to cold and coldness. Could you please tell me what causes continuous fetal movement at 9 months of pregnancy?

Doctor's answer:

Hello, are you short of oxygen? Normal fetal movement is approximately 3 to 5 times per hour, with about 30 to 40 movements within 12 hours. Under normal circumstances, the strength and frequency of fetal movement change throughout the day, with fewer movements in the morning and an increase after 6 PM, peaking most actively between 8 PM and 11 PM.
The OTC test is the oxytocin challenge test. This test must be conducted while hospitalized, with preparedness for emergency management of fetal distress. If severe contractions or fetal heart rate deceleration occur, the test should be immediately stopped, and the patient should be placed in a side-lying position with oxygen administration.
