Through it, readers can gain a preliminary understanding of relativity, thereby forming a certain impression and receiving some inspiration. It is a preliminary exploration of a mysterious palace and a of a vantage point. It is believed that getting closer to Einstein and understanding relativity will greatly benefit the adjustment of knowledge structures, the inspiration of thinking methods, and the stimulation of scientific spirit. This book is part of the Science Literacy Library and the Science Classics Series. The works included in this series are scientific classics that have undergone sufficient historical validation since the birth of modern science during the Renaissance. To distinguish it from the widely used term "classic" today, we call it "Science Classics." The "classic" we refer to here is different from what fans call "classic," and it is also different from the "scientific classic poems" recited by performing artists. The popular songs favored by fans belong to "contemporary classics," which are actually trendy and opposite in meaning to what we call traditional classics. The "scientific classic poems" recited by performing artists are mostly prose that expresses the emotions and life attitudes of scientists, or even play dialogue reflecting scientists' lives. They may be widely acclaimed, but whether they belong to the classics in the humanities is debatable, and they basically lack scientific content. Not all statements or widely circulated works of famous scientific masters are scientific classics. The "Science Classics" we refer to here are the most fundamental and important works among the scientific classics, which are epoch-making landmarks in the history of human intellect and civilization, carriers of rational spirit, and possess eternal value.
