Patient's question:
I have an itchy lower body, and my underwear is always yellow. What's going on?Do I need a D&C if I have discharge right after implantation?
Doctor's answer:
After implantation, there is usually no noticeable sensation. Regarding the fusion of sperm and egg, this is a gradual process that typically takes more than 20 hours to fully fertilize... This is not something you need to worry about. You only need to have intercourse every other day within three to five days after ovulation...As the delivery approaches, the following signs may occur:
1. Baby dropping, reduced pressure around the abdomen, a heavy feeling in the lower abdomen, frequent urination, and no sense of needing to urinate even after doing so.
2. Increased mucus-like cervical mucus.
3. Irregular cramping or bloating in the abdomen.
Signs that labor is imminent:
1. Contractions: You may feel the uterus contracting regularly within a day, with more than six expansions. This indicates the start of labor. Contractions are divided into false labor and true labor.
- False labor: Begins 3–4 weeks before delivery, is irregular, and improves with movement. The pain is localized to the lower abdomen and groin area, rarely extending to the back, and the cervix has not dilated.
- True labor: Occurs when labor starts, is regular, and causes intense pain that cannot be relieved by movement. The pain is felt in the abdomen, back, and coccyx area, accompanied by a strong urge to defecate, and the cervix begins to dilate.
