Features: The book is divided into four parts: Conclusion, Basic Knowledge of Chemical Experiments, Experimental Content, and Appendices. The introduction part introduces the basic requirements of chemical experiments, the use rules of laboratory reagents (drugs), safety knowledge, and preventive measures. The basic knowledge of chemical experiments part covers basic chemical operation methods, the working principles and operation methods of common chemical laboratory instruments, and the processing of experimental data. The experimental content part includes 35 independent experiments, including the synthesis, preparation, separation, purification, and identification of properties of simple inorganic and organic compounds, the determination of some physicochemical constants, and the application of common chemical laboratory instruments and techniques. The appendix part collects the preparation methods of common chemical reagents, the properties of common elements (compounds), and commonly used physicochemical constants. Some experiments in the book are related to real life, with the aim of further inspiring students to recognize the role of the chemical discipline in the development of natural sciences and improving the quality of human life while ensuring the scientificity and accuracy of teaching content, and stimulating their interest in the chemical discipline. This book can be used as a textbook for general chemistry experiments for first- and second-year students in ordinary universities. Different disciplines can select and combine the experimental content provided as needed.
