The typesetting was already completed, but it was unable to be printed due to the outbreak of the war. The category refers to Ye Zi's writings such as prefaces, reviews, memories, commemorations, eulogies, editorial notes, letters, and diaries. This selected collection includes most of Ye Zi's prose works, arranged in chronological order by publication date. Another aspect of life depicted in Ye Zi's prose is the rural areas along the Dongting Lake coast, which have been devastated by natural disasters and human calamities. From his writings, one can also discern his literary views, which are rich in revolutionary and combative spirit, while also featuring an artistic style rooted in local culture.
