Inside the uterus, there is a liquid dark area. Is it an ectopic pregnancy?

Patient's question:

I have a particularly itchy lower body, and my underwear is always yellow. What's going on? Is a dark fluid area in the uterus an ectopic pregnancy?

Doctor's answer:

Generally, before seeing a gestational sac on ultrasound, hCG can be used to make a preliminary judgment, or a transvaginal ultrasound can be performed to check if there is a gestational sac in the uterine cavity. It is not limited to how many days of missed period. In ectopic pregnancy, blood hCG levels may be lower than those of normal intrauterine pregnancy. If the hCG increases by more than 66% every two days, it is generally only one mature follicle per menstrual cycle, meaning a woman can only ovulate once a month, and the chance of pregnancy is also only once.
