How to Self-Examine Your Breasts

Patient's question:

I got married last year. Recently, I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain, especially during my period. I'm very worried about it affecting my fertility, and I'm also extremely sensitive to cold and coldness. How can I self-examine my breasts?

Doctor's answer:

Look at the mirror with both hands hanging down, carefully observe whether both breasts are symmetrical in size, if there are any abnormal protrusions, and if the skin and nipples have any indentations or eczema.
Lift your left hand to the back of your head, use your right hand to examine the left breast, gently press the breast with the palm of your fingers, and feel for any lumps. Start from the nipple and check in a circular motion in a clockwise direction, gradually moving outward (about three or four circles), until the entire breast is checked. Repeat the same method to check the right breast.
Lie flat on your back, place a pillow under your right shoulder, bend your right arm under your head, and repeat the "touch" method to check both breasts.
Pinch the nipple with your thumb and index finger, and pay attention to any abnormal discharge.
