What are the obvious symptoms of ectopic pregnancy?

Patient's question:

I got married last year. Recently, I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain, especially during my period. I'm very worried about it affecting my fertility, and I'm also extremely sensitive to cold and coldness. Could you please tell me what the obvious symptoms of ectopic pregnancy are?

Doctor's answer:

(1) Amenorrhea: Except for tubal interstitial pregnancy with a relatively longer amenorrhea history, most patients have amenorrhea for 6 to 8 weeks, with about 20~30% of patients having no obvious amenorrhea history.
(2) Abdominal Pain: This is the primary reason for tubal pregnancy patients to seek medical attention. Before tubal pregnancy rupture or abortion, it presents as a dull pain or aching sensation in one lower abdomen. When rupture or abortion occurs, patients suddenly feel a tearing-like pain in one lower abdomen, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting. If blood accumulates in the pouch of Douglas, a sense of fullness or pressure in the rectum may occur. As internal bleeding increases, blood flows from the pelvic cavity to the entire abdomen, causing generalized abdominal pain. This can stimulate the diaphragm, leading to radiating pain in the scapular region.
(3) Vaginal Bleeding: Irregular vaginal bleeding is common, with dark red, light flow, and generally not exceeding menstrual volume. or fragments may be expelled along with the vaginal bleeding.
(4) Fainting and Shock: Due to acute intra-abdominal bleeding and severe abdominal pain, mild cases may cause fainting, while severe cases may lead to hemorrhagic shock. The severity is proportional to the speed and volume of intra-abdominal bleeding but not proportional to the volume of vaginal bleeding.
