Features: The main purpose of this series is to take Keynesianism as a breakthrough and advocate a rigorous and pioneering research spirit in studying contemporary Western economics: First, strive to fully understand and master the theories themselves, ensuring that the descriptions are accurate and not lacking in willingness. It is strictly forbidden to have superficial understanding and hasty judgments, which may lead to going astray. Second, contemporary Western economic theories, including Keynesianism, fall within the realm of ideology, and there is an issue of distinguishing right from wrong. It is necessary to use the scientific analytical methods of Marxist pragmatism to make thorough and detailed comments. We adhere to the principle of "dividing into two parts": what is right is right, and what is wrong is wrong. Whether it is praise or criticism, we strive to be appropriate and convince people with reason. It must be pointed out that this series is specifically focused on Keynesianism. It provides a realistic and in-depth analysis of the formation and development of its entire theoretical system, including the historical background and intellectual origins, as well as the theoretical connotations of its main contributors, to determine its right and wrong, gains and losses. In this series, some chapters focus on comments, such as the critique of Keynes's general theory of employment, the evaluation of P.A. Samuelson's neoclassical synthesis theory, the review of Joan Robinson's Cambridge economics theory, the critique of A.H. Hansen's economic theory, and the comparative analysis of opposing theories to Keynesianism, and so on. Other volumes primarily describe economic theories but also provide concise and brief comments. In summary, this series places special emphasis on the critical analysis of Keynesianism to distinguish right from wrong, striving for depth, thoroughness, realism, and reasonableness. This is the fundamental purpose of this series and one of its important features. Third, regarding the reference, use, and application of these economic theories in China's economic construction, we adhere to taking the essence and adapting foreign theories to China. On one hand, we oppose wholesale negation and complete rejection; on the other hand, and more importantly, we strongly emphasize the need to firmly oppose blind worship and mechanical application, as this will inevitably have serious negative consequences for the national economy and people's livelihood. We should remain vigilant.
