Features: The main purpose of this series is to take Keynesianism as a breakthrough, advocating a rigorous and pioneering research spirit in the study of contemporary Western economics: First, strive to fully understand and master the theories themselves, ensuring accurate and precise exposition without losing willingness. Avoid superficial understanding, hasty judgments, and misguided paths. Second, contemporary Western economic theories, including Keynesianism, fall within the realm of ideology, involving the issue of distinguishing right from wrong. It is necessary to make thorough and detailed comments using the scientific analytical methods of Marxist pragmatism. We adhere to the principle of "dividing into two parts": what is right is right, what is wrong is wrong. Whether it is praise or criticism, we strive for appropriateness and convince through reason. It must be pointed out that this series focuses on Keynesianism, providing a realistic and in-depth analysis of its entire theoretical system's formation and development, including historical context and intellectual origins, as well as the theoretical connotations of its main contributors, to judge its right and wrong, gains and losses. Some chapters in this series prioritize comments, such as the critique of Keynes's general theory of employment, the evaluation of P.A. Samuelson's neoclassical synthesis theory, the review of Joan Robinson's Cambridge economics theory, the analysis of A·H·Hansen's economic theories, and the comparative analysis of opposing theories to Keynesianism, and so on. Other volumes primarily focus on describing economic theories but also provide concise and brief comments. In summary, this series places special emphasis on clarifying right from wrong and critically analyzing Keynesianism, striving for depth, thoroughness, realism, and reasonableness. This is the fundamental purpose of this series and one of its important features. Third, regarding the reference, utilization, and adaptation of these economic theories in China's economic construction, we adhere to selecting the essence and adapting foreign theories to China. On one hand, we oppose wholesale negation and complete exclusion; on the other hand, and more importantly, we strongly emphasize the need to oppose blind worship and rigid application, as this will inevitably have severe negative consequences for the national economy and people's livelihood. We should remain vigilant.
