Features: The significant importance of Russian law research in China has been widely recognized in the academic community. However, the current state of Russian law research in China is unsatisfactory. Although some individuals are conducting research, it remains relatively scattered and has not formed a cohesive "force," with limited influence in the legal community and a significant mismatch with practical needs. The formation of this situation is closely related to the lack of major specialized journals in Russian law academia, leaving many authors with no platform to publish their work. We hope that the publication of this series can provide a platform for Russian law researchers across the country, allowing for the concentrated, continuous, and extensive publication of works on Russian law research, thereby contributing to the advancement of Russian law studies in China. This collection focuses on the influence of Soviet Russian law on China and the current state of Russian law and legal systems.
Part 1, "The Influence of Soviet Law on China," explores the historical connections between Soviet law and China in fields such as legal theory, legal philosophy, civil law, and international law, analyzing both the positive and negative impacts. The second part, "Russian Law and Legal Systems," emphasizes the changes in Russian law since the dissolution of the Soviet Union, as well as reflections on and reforms of Soviet law.
