Features: I once said that what attracted me most to Suzhou was books, far more than Tiger Hill, Humble Administrator's Garden, and the old wine of Yuan Da Chang. These are all old tales. Fifty years ago, Xuanmiao Temple and Hulong Street were lined with bookstores, with especially many stalls. For a book hunter, the greatest temptation is to read books one has never seen before, and here there were always fresh varieties, offering surprises at every turn. It's not, as some might say, that the purpose of book hunting is to gather gold and treasures. The cultural heritage of the motherland is far more valuable than any amount of gold and treasures. From different perspectives, such differences truly exist, and it's truly a matter to sigh over. In this small book, I have left behind a few pieces of book hunting notes, some about Suzhou and some about Hangzhou, but they are all old stories from many years ago. Reading them today, I can't help but feel a sense of "Dream of Splendor in Tokyo" and "Old Events in Wulin." As cultural historical materials, they can still exist for the time being.
