Publish Date: 2006-01-01
Features: This book is a specialized work that discusses Vietnam's national politics, law, economy, society, rural systems, and institutions. The structure of the book is as follows: after a general overview of the Party and state organs (Chapter 1), it provides detailed discussions on various fields or topics, including national legal and regulatory documents (Chapter 2), the National Assembly (Chapter 3), the judicial system (Chapter 4), the civil service system (Chapter 5), administrative reform (Chapter 6), national finance (Chapter 7), foreign policy decision-making institutions (Chapter 8), national and local administrative organizations (Chapter 9), rural administrative systems (Chapter 10), and state-owned enterprises (Chapter 11). During the writing process, the authors paid special attention to maximizing reference to legal and regulatory documents based on various agencies, organizations, and systems, capturing the characteristics of their organizational systems and operational frameworks from a legal perspective. Additionally, when conditions permitted, they provided concise descriptions of the actual situations and dynamics. However, due to specific field-related constraints, it was sometimes difficult to grasp relevant legal and regulatory aspects. Furthermore, due to limitations in length, the focus and discussion methods of each chapter varied. Nevertheless, the authors made every effort to unify specialized terminology and other content throughout the book.
