Publishing Date: 2005-08-01
Features: This book is organized based on the edition published by Longfu Temple's Sanhuai Hall bookshop in the Guangxu year (1830) of the Daoguang era. The entire book is divided into two volumes. The first volume discusses the author's corrections to the inaccuracies in the understanding of zang-fu (organs and bowels) structures in ancient medical texts and elaborates on the conditions treated by Tongqiao Huoxue Tang (Decoction for Promoting Blood Circulation through Openings), Xuefu Zhuyu Tang (Decoction for Removing Blood Stasis from the Chest), and Gexia Zhuyu Tang (Decoction for Removing Blood Stasis from the Hypochondria). The second volume explores various conditions such as hemiplegia, paraplegia, convulsions caused by smallpox toxin and vomiting/diarrhea, infantile convulsions, smallpox, and maternal and childbirth issues, presenting arguments and formulations for clinical reference. The entire book includes 33 prescriptions, most of which have proven clinical efficacy and are still widely used in clinical practice today. This edition also adds a formula index to facilitate reader reference.
