Patient's question:
Hello, what are the clinical symptoms of pelvic inflammation? Can an ultrasound detect whether there is pelvic inflammation?Doctor's answer:
Hello: Vaginal ultrasound or rectal ultrasound can detect it. Clinical manifestations can vary depending on the severity and extent of the inflammation. Patients often have high fever, chills, poor appetite, and lower abdominal pain, and may also have digestive system and urinary system symptoms. Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease is often a result of inadequate or incomplete treatment of acute pelvic inflammatory disease, due to poor patient constitution and prolonged course of the disease. It can also occur without a typical history of acute inflammation, and may manifest as an acute episode when the body's resistance is poor. Patients may have mild systemic symptoms, sometimes with low fever, lower abdominal pain, and back pain; menstrual disorders and increased leukorrhea; ovarian dysfunction may lead to menstrual disorders; and tubal adhesion and obstruction may cause infertility. Daily hygiene during the four periods should be well maintained, and vaginal and cervical should be actively treated. Exercise should be strengthened to enhance physical fitness. If surgical indications exist, surgical treatment should be performed. Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease is preferably treated with a comprehensive approach.
