Doctor's answer:
It should be the pain caused by the uterus pressing during pregnancy. The most troublesome aspect of coccydynia is the pain and discomfort felt in the coccyx area when sitting, especially when the coccyx is under pressure. If diagnosed as simple coccydynia and other diseases are ruled out, the pain can be relieved by changing sitting posture, using the thigh as the pressure point, avoiding cycling in the near term, placing a soft cushion on the sacral area while sitting, taking daily hot baths while seated, and performing internal anal massage. Local heat therapy should also be applied. Usually, satisfactory results can be achieved. If necessary, coccygeal nerve block can be performed. However, since this area is close to the anus, it is prone to infection, so strict sterile procedures must be followed during the block. Coccydynia is not suitable for cupping therapy.
