Chin finds a huge pearl in the sea and believes he can live a happy life from then on. However, the pearl merchants, and someone even steals his pearls at night. Chin’s wife, Juan, considers the pearl an ominous thing and plans to secretly throw it back into the sea. Chin, but on their way home, they are ambushed again. Chin kills the enemies, but when he and his wife return, they find their hut has been destroyed by fire, and their small boat, their means of survival, is also ruined. During their escape to the capital, the Chin family is ambushed again. Little Dog is hit by a stray bullet and dies, and Chin kills several enemies before setting off on the return journey. He returns the disastrous pearl to the sea.
