Features: Appreciation of exquisite wisdom stories, savoring beautiful philosophical essays. Family and Emotion: Family affection is an oasis in a desolate desert. When you feel lonely, melancholic, weak, thirsty, or in pain, a glimpse of it fills you with radiance, bringing tranquility to your heart, so you won’t feel alone. Family affection is the starlight in the dark night. Once, we chased our goals and overlooked its existence. But one day, when we lost our way, a soft glow guided us to take firm steps forward. Family affection is a harbor in the midst of a voyage. When we repeatedly run aground, we slowly sail into it. Here, there is no fierce wind or stormy waves, where we can pause, heal our wounds, prepare for supplies, and set sail again with high hopes.
People and Things: Humans are the most powerful beings in nature. In the early days of human society, people believed that nature offered endless wealth. They recklessly exploited it, but as a result, nature not only exhausted its resources but also responded with punitive measures against human behavior. Loving and being close to nature is human nature. Let us, through perceiving, appreciating, and experiencing our surroundings, develop a sense of care for nature, concern for life, and compassion for others. In the process of getting close to nature and caring for the environment, we can advance human civilization.
Tension and Relaxation: The Book of Rites contains a passage with a touch of dialectical thinking: “To stretch without relaxation, even the best warriors cannot endure; to relax without stretching, even the best warriors cannot function. To alternate between tension and relaxation—this is the way of the military.” We advocate balancing tension and relaxation, combining work and rest. This is not to open the door to slackness but to maintain vitality and energy more effectively and sustainably, to do better work, and to gain more. To relax a little is precisely to achieve better tension and relaxation.
