Can pregnant women use induction cookers?

Patient's question:

The weather is getting colder, using an induction cooker to have a hot pot, is it harmful to the fetus? Will it cause radiation?

Doctor's answer:

The hazards of induction cooktops primarily come from electromagnetic radiation. The "magnetic" generated by an induction cooktop is mostly distributed at the bottom of the pot, forming a closed magnetic field. When cookware is placed on the induction cooktop "working," the intensity of the closed magnetic field produced by the cooktop reaches a maximum of 160 milligauss at the edge of the cooktop. In contrast, the signal magnetic field generated by using a mobile phone is close to 1600 milligauss, which is 10 times stronger than the magnetic field at the edge of the induction cooktop. Therefore, the magnetic field produced by an induction cooktop has a much lesser impact on the human body compared to a mobile phone.
