Features: This series of "Happy Reading in English for Middle School Students" consists of 15 units per book. We have titled them "Week 1," "Week 2," and "Week 15," with the intention of aligning them with the relatively free weeks students have outside of exam periods in school. Therefore, the learning and use of this series are designed to be relaxed. Each unit in the series is also relaxed in content. This is reflected in two aspects. Each unit includes six parts: "Leisure Reading," "Attempt to Understand," "Humorous Appreciation," "Vocabulary Memorization," "Encouraging Words," and "Reference Answers." "Leisure Reading" aims to help students learn and master an idiom through reading idiom stories. "Attempt to Understand" selects articles with diverse content, each accompanied by multiple-choice comprehension questions targeting the article's theme, vocabulary, and key points. "Humorous Appreciation" requires simple answers in addition to light-hearted enjoyment. "Vocabulary Memorization" asks students to choose the best option to reinforce learned vocabulary. "Encouraging Words" consists of positive quotes or sayings. "Reference Answers" are provided for self-checking. As can be seen from the titles, the reading materials selected for this series are highly interesting, making the reading process enjoyable as well. Additionally, we have not only controlled the length and difficulty of the reading materials but also ensured a gradual progression in each book. We have also carefully considered the transitions between each unit. Even the design and arrangement of exercises and options have been meticulously planned to help students effortlessly enter the learning environment. Therefore, the learning environment of this series is designed to be relaxed.
