Features: Since the large-scale musical variety show "One Same Song" on CCTV was broadcast, letters from audiences and fans across the country flew in like snowflakes. Reading those enthusiastic and full-of-expectation words, we resonated with you in the same way. What to do? It's impossible to reply to each one individually. How we wish we could have a dialogue with you! We have been pondering a way to communicate with you. Music is the messenger that connects hearts, and television is a direct form of dialogue. We edited and published this book, "One Same Song – Foreign Songs," as the best answer, a book where music and television solidify letters. The everyday conversations, the joys and sorrows to be shared, the aspirations to be discussed – all are exchanged and replied to in this book. The 20th century left us countless treasures in Chinese music. It is the echo of the century, the footsteps of artists, the beautiful memories of singers and audiences, and also our solace. In this song collection, we have selected over 200 excellent foreign songs compiled by Chinese music workers, including songs from foreign films and TV shows, folk songs, art songs, and famous opera arias from abroad. These songs are a precious spiritual wealth contributed by people around the world and artists from various countries to humanity. They are worth us knowing, learning, appreciating, and listening to. Most of these songs are familiar and beloved by audiences in China. Through them, we can gain a glimpse of foreign cultures, understand the thoughts and emotions of people from different countries, and explore the characteristics of musical cultures in some nations. Although this understanding cannot be all-encompassing or deeply detailed, it is still valuable.
