As if the layman said the "Platform Sutra"

This Bodhisattva, one day, while practicing and attaining enlightenment, entered into a very profound state—specifically, the "deep practice of Prajna Paramita"—and perceived the emptiness of the five aggregates! This is a profound state of realization, characterized by the phrase, "perceiving the emptiness of the five aggregates!" It was because of this perception that the Buddha praised him, which led Sariputta to ask further questions. Ananda then recorded this invaluable scripture of the Buddha's teachings and practices.
